On Saturday, Sept. 22, Dodger Legends took part in a Play Ball LA clinic presented by Bank of America at the Dodger Dream Field at Wrigley Little League. Over 100 boys and girls enjoyed a fun afternoon of baseball followed by a barbeque with their families.Clinic participants were given valuable coaching tips and were led through hitting, fielding and pitching drills by former Dodger Legends including pitcher Jim Gott, first baseman Wes Parker, and outfielders Rudy Law and Lee Lacy. Each child participating in the clinic received a LA Dodgers Play Ball LA t-shirt courtesy of Bank of America and a Dodger baseball cap.The Dodgers are proud to keep bringing these kinds of events into the community and are committed to continue providing all boys and girls an opportunity to enjoy the game of baseball.Play Ball LA is an initiative created by the Dodgers Dream Foundation and presented by Bank of America. Play Ball LA supports youth baseball and softball via clinics, appearances and direct contact between the Dodger ball club and the greater community. [See the photos]
